What We Need:
We are looking for an Executive Administrative Specialist to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team.
The Executive Administrative Specialist is responsible for conducting complex and confidential administrative functions in support of the executive leadership team. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects, calendars, and perform executive support duties.
What You Will Do:
  • Responsive for providing high-level administrative support to the assigned executive team members; to include travel, expense, calendar management, and other duties/projects.
  • Prepare and/or review a variety of letters/memos, presentations, and reports to ensure accuracy with exposure to a significant amount of confidential information discretion.
  • Provide resourceful and proactive resolution and communication to conflicts in scheduling and/or calendar commitments on behalf of the assigned executive team.
  • Effectively organizes and manages workload and demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks based on company and executive leadership deadlines.
  • Coordinate and provide day of oversight for leadership meetings and/or events, both on-site and off-site to include agenda management, travel itineraries, and meal/entertainment planning.
  • Uses independent decision making in response to conflicts and proactively initiates resolutions.
  • May support MCR and HNI Corporate sponsored events and initiatives, such as, City of Hope.
  • May be responsible for the coordination and execution of project management activities in support of the Sales Operations teams such as: Team Up, NSM, etc.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
What You Have:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate degreein related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years administrative assistant experience (or equivalent experience in a similar role) strongly preferred.
