About the Site Merchandising Team

We're responsible for delivering a superior site experience for the customer by using data and customer insights to deliver easy, inspiring product discovery and helpful, intuitive, content-rich product pages.

Position Overview: Manager, Website Merchandising

As the Manager of Website Merchandising, you will play a pivotal role in driving the merchandising strategies for our channel, utilizing site analytics to enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the digital strategy roadmap for Textiles & Decorative Accessories, identifying opportunities for site merchandising improvements and enhancing sales performance while optimizing site KPIs.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven optimizations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Merchandising teams to pinpoint key opportunities within the category and channel, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Establish streamlined processes in co-ordination with cross-functional teams to facilitate the execution of seasonal launches, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
  • Conduct regular audits of product listings and ensure accurate and up-to-date product information, including pricing, descriptions, and images.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product placement improving discoverability and conversion rates.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication of deliverables to cross-functional partners, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.
  • Identify brand-building photography needs and facilitate discussions with the photo studio to streamline processes and prioritize brand objectives.
  • Provide ongoing support and education to internal stakeholders on website merchandising best practices and tools.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with technology partners, offering insights from a customer and site merchandising perspective to inform site-related tests and enhancements.
  • Conduct regular analysis of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions for the channel.
  • Lead a team of one or more employees, overseeing the assignment and prioritization of digital strategy projects, and resolving any obstacles to ensure accurate product setup and timely launches.
  • Participate in key cross-functional product assortment and investment review meetings to contribute insights and align website merchandising strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed, contributing expertise in website merchandising and customer experience.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, competitor activities, and emerging trends in eCommerce and website merchandising, incorporating relevant insights into strategy development.

Criteria

  • Related bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of Site Merchandising experience.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong affinity for the product and brand
  • Proven analytical and business planning skills.
  • Able to make timely decisions, anticipate problems, and provide creative solutions.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (working knowledge with pivot tables and v-lookups)
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the (New York, San Francisco, Rocklin, Portland, San Jose) office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $104,400. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
