Position Title: Wealth Corporate Governance & Tax Administrator

Business Unit: WM - FNIS

Reports to: Manager of Corporate & Tax Governance

Position Overview:

Position is primarily responsible for assisting the Manager of Corporate & Tax Governance. Incumbent will support internal and external examination / regulatory requests to maintain a Satisfactory rating. Incumbent is responsible for tax processing, fiduciary tax returns, proper reporting to clients and the IRS. Creating Wealth Management reports, calculating payroll, and acting as a liaison between Finance, Wholesale Banking, and Wealth Management. The incumbent provides regular updates on Wealth Management activity to Committees and internal business partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops, maintains and monitors tracking and reporting mechanism for Wealth Management's incentive payment process according to plan documents and defined ratios. Correspond with management to verify payment amount and timely processing.

Create reconcilement reports monthly/quarterly used by Finance, the OCC, the SEC, and internal controls to monitor and mitigate risk of fraud and loss.

Generates, analyses, and disseminates Wealth Management and financial reports for the Finance Department and Wealth Management managers presenting sales and revenue detailing individual, regional and branch production accurately and timely to meet required deadlines and ensuring that recipients understand the data.

Maintains and oversees third party relationships of Wealth Management for proper documentation, notification for renewal, and track expenditures to plan and forecast client acquisition growth costs.

Maintains and oversees the Personal Securities Transactions and Attestations system for Wealth Management for adherence to current SEC Investment Advisor regulations based on Code of Conduct/Ethics.

Interacts with tax vendors to ensure processing reflects properly within client tax reporting and to the IRS. Validates forms and returns are in good order before submission. Resolves any received disputes with tax agencies.

Maintains good working knowledge of the tax industry, regulations, and anticipates changes in required processing. Effectively communicates those changes to client advisors which impacts client financial plans. Serves as the subject matter expert in these activities.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
