The Senior Financial Business System Analyst will be part of our OneStream implementation, including the Reporting, Consolidation, Transformation, Reconciliation and Task Management modules. Once live, thefinancial business systems administratorwill be responsible for the ongoing development and administration of our Financial Systems to support the close and reporting process. The role interacts actively with the various functional areas in the company both in order to obtain input for its analysis and reporting, and to provide output and comments for other department's reporting initiatives, including recommendations for improvements in reporting controls and efficiency. The position applies a mix of analytical, functional, and technical skills to develop and implement innovative solutions that further continuous process improvement and business initiatives. You are considered an operational partner and your contributions should produce great results.

Key Aspects of Your Role Will Include:
  • Support the development, deployment, enhance and maintenance of financial reports and dashboards including the collection of end user requirements and building reports to their specification in compliance with controls.
  • Utilize creative and analytical thinking to develop solution alternatives and recommendations; work with business leads to build trust with the business owners by delivering a constant stream of innovation ideas that fit within finance strategies.
  • Support business application administration and maintenance for the OneStream and Anaplan platform including account reconciliations, task managers, journals, matching, planning, incentive, M&A and other applicable modules. Provides financial system and data support based on the alignment of business processes within the financial system platforms.
  • Serve as OneStream and Anaplan platform subject matter expert for support and maintenance of features, accounting processes, and other enhancement projects or solutions.
  • Support enterprise-wide end users on training and functionalities to facilitate financial data mining for analysis, inquiries, and ad hoc reporting. Create and maintain documentation on system / reporting environment for internal team use. Support the development and implementation of training and change management plans.
  • Support critical financial activities including monitoring and evaluating status of modules during the month end close, guiding business unit finance teams on technical/process topics, identifying and investigating data errors and discrepancies, performing data validations and corrections; provide the most effective and efficient process and tools for data loading during corporate month end close.
  • Maintain an understanding of the business finance reporting requirements: GAAP, Statutory, Consolidations, Segment, and Tax needs and how users leverage and use information to run functions.
  • Provide backup to financial systems team members (interface support, database management), to ensure the accuracy and availability of critical financial database applications.
  • Summarize and escalate significant data reporting issues and bugs as required
  • Participate in data validation and system testing; perform data analysis to investigate issues.
  • Works closely with IT staff and Third-Party Administrators to maintain an efficient and stable OneStream and Anaplan environment.
  • Works closely with Financial Systems team members to maximize Workday, OneStream, Anaplan, and other financial systems reporting and accounting functionality and capabilities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a consolidation and reporting environment required
  • Excellent change control process management skills, including knowledge of SOX compliance requirements
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles along with accounting and financial close processes
  • The ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision in imperative.
  • Ability to self-direct work while keeping leadership apprised and engaged for critical issues.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems supporting accounting and business team member
  • Adapts easily to new situations, people, culture, and technology
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage through complexity
  • Must be a team player and be able to handle multiple assignments with deadlines
  • Experience with Cloud Enterprise applications
  • Experience with OneStream, Anaplan, BPC, HFM, FDM or similar Consolidations/Reporting/Reconciliations tool a plus

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
