Are you a skilled painter with a passion for creating beautiful spaces? Fairmont Olympic Hotel is seeking a dedicated and talented Painter / Maintenance Technician to join our engineering and maintenance team. If you have experience in painting and finishing, an eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality, this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to the timeless beauty of our establishment!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Painting and Finishing: Perform painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, painting, and finishing, using various techniques and tools.
  • Surface Repair: Repair and patch walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed prior to painting.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools to ensure their proper functioning and longevity.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, using appropriate safety gear and ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineeringteam members and departments to coordinate painting projects efficiently.


Qualifications

  • Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience: Previous experience in professional painting, including knowledge of different painting techniques and finishes.
  • Skills: Strong painting skills with an eye for detail and the ability to create smooth, consistent, and visually appealing finishes.
  • Color Matching: Proficiency in accurately matching and blending paint colors to achieve desired results.
  • Safety Consciousness: Commitment to safety practices and awareness of potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and demonstrating a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.
