Performs the tasks necessary to assemble the coach in a specific area or discipline on the actual assembly line in a timely manner. They must also maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.
Primary Responsibilities- Must be capable of using a variety of tools for sustained periods of time
- Must be able to interpret and understand drawings, Bills of materials and other verbal and written instructions
- Identify and report errors when found on Prints and Bills of Materials
- Work with other members of the assembly process to complete coaches within the allotted time frame.
- Meet and follow all safety and quality requirements
- Identify defective items and dispose of according to company processes
- Ability to reason and solve problems as they arise.
- And other duties as assigned
Qualifications- A high school diploma or GED.
- Read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate in English
- Capable of reading a tape measure and other measuring devices
- Attention to detail
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Good hand eye coordination
