JOB SUMMARY: The IT Director will lead and develop an internal team responsible for the management of the company's information technology systems. In this role, the IT Director will direct, plan, organize and control all aspects of IT to ensure continuity of technology services for users throughout the organization through strategic direction, planning, technical leadership, hands-on implementation, support of technical solutions and project coordination.

Direct Reports: Help Desk Technicians (2), Systems Administrator, IT Business Analysts (2)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Perform all supervisory responsibilities associated with the IT department including but not limited to hiring, training, performance management, work direction, and budgeting.

* Oversee procurement, installation, and maintenance of all computer hardware and software.

* Conduct needs assessments, evaluate equipment, software and processes, forecast costs and recommend changes related to IT operations and support of all technology systems.

* Oversee data architecture, reporting and compliance and implement best practices in the area of cybersecurity.

* Develop and own system failure and disaster recovery plan for all IT systems.

* Act as liaison with contractors, vendors, and hardware/software suppliers.

* Monitor existing systems, processes and procedures, and create and enforce written policies and procedures regarding IT systems for proper controls while maintaining accreditations.

* Oversee asset identification and preventative maintenance and replacement schedule for technology equipment.

* Communicate to leadership with monthly reporting of departmental outcomes and assure responsiveness of long-range planning to corporate objectives.

* Stay abreast and provide information on any developments in technology.

* Provide excellent customer service and ensure the IT team is professional in response to or completion of any technology issues.

* Prepare long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, implementations and acquisition of the resources needed to support the strategic plan.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Programming, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience of 8-10 years will be considered.

* Demonstrated IT project management and leadership.

* 5+ years' management experience in an IT environment preferred.

* 3-5 years minimum managing personnel, required.

* Must be 21 years old.

* Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and Car Insurance Verification, required.

* Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record.

* Ability to speak, read and write the English language.

* This position requires light physical work and requires use of standard office and classroom equipment. * Employee is required to operate a computer.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

* Works in a climate controlled, office environment most of the time.

* Moderate noise level

* Work schedule is days; however evenings, weekends, holidays may be required due to an event or circumstance required due to scheduling.

* Works 40 hours per week or more when required.
