SHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE

This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment.

SUMMARY: The Strategic Sales Operations Manager oversees strategic market analysis in the automotive industry, identifying key trends and drivers for growth. They coordinate global and North American cost recovery efforts, liaising with account directors and finance teams, while also supporting new customer quotations and business cases. This role requires strong analytical skills, extensive sales experience, and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Strategic Market Analysis

  • Study Market Dynamics to identify key trends in Automotive industry
  • Review Industry data to identify key drivers impacting Growth over Market projections
  • Drive systems and tools to collect data autonomously and analyze key outputs for price quality and gaps to required levels

Global Cost Recovery Coordinator

  • Align weekly with all Global Account Directors on Customer Recovery Status and Strategy.
  • Align with Global Finance on reported recoveries vs forecasted recoveries
  • Work with Global Finance to automate reporting tools and coordination of reported results
  • Prepare weekly reports for the Vice President Sales - Global, that are distributed to executive management

NA Cost Recovery Coordination

  • Work with Global Account Directors to strategize then submission claims with customers.
  • Engage in weekly reviews with Global Account Directors to understand actions and plan status
  • Hold discussions with NA customers to discuss various topics

New Customer Quotations and Business Cases

  • Support the NA Regional teams to prepare and submit Business Cases for quote approval
  • Align with key quote stakeholders in Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Engineering and Operations on Business Case preparation.

Your Background

  • 5- 10 yrs. of experience in Sales Roles with increasing responsibility
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (a plus)
  • Able to travel
  • Analysis and problem solving
  • Automotive industry experience
