Enbridge Gas Ohio is hiring a Senior Construction Scheduler with experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, and analyzing master project schedules related to engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning for capital projects to ensure activities are on track to meet project milestones and business goals. The Senior Construction Scheduler will also liaise with Pipeline and Service Line Contractors to develop and maintain project metrics, such as progress curves, and project milestones to ensure site project goals are met.

Here is What You Will Do:

  • Integrate and manage project schedule submittals into master schedule.

  • Review critical path, lag relationships, constraints, and milestones.

  • Address, review and correct any issues with master project schedule to assigned Pipeline and Service Line Contractors and track all project issue specifics as they relate to the master schedule.

  • Applies specialized technical knowledge of construction schedules to address/resolve any issues with project team.

  • Act as lead schedule representative to major projects.

  • Serve as project schedule subject matter expert and communicate issues up through project team and management.

  • Perform detailed schedule variance analysis via Project Scheduling Software.

  • Provide weekly/monthly summary reports to Project Management leadership team, Site Project Management team, Construction Team, and executive leadership.

  • Train, coach and educate staff on proper scheduling techniques.

  • Perform additional assignments as requested.

Who You Are:

You Have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in field/management, construction scheduling, project management/costing or other directly related experience, preferably with multi-million/billion-dollar large industrial projects.

  • Hands-on proficiency in Project Scheduling Software is required.

  • Experience with Excel and Word.

  • A working knowledge of how to read engineering / construction drawings.

  • An understanding of how project and Supplier work-scopes are sequenced and constructed.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and are a team player.

  • An ability to work with multiple teams with a matrix management organization.

Preferred Assets:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

  • Possess excellent schedule analysis, trouble shooting, and forecasting skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical Office environment with up to 25% travel.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
