JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Lead is responsible to provide full integrated support to patients, pharmacists and clinic staff by providing full continuum of medication services. The technician leads are result-oriented and team orientation individuals who are responsible for the training and development along with pharmacy leadership. The technician lead will train new and existing team members on processes and procedures. The technician lead will also assist in departmental operations tasks as needed.
EDUCATION:
High School / GED plus one year of post high school education or related work experience.
Certifications: Pharmacy Technician National Certification through PTCB or NHA required.
Licenses: Vermont Board of Pharmacy Technician License required
Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Lead will maintain their Pharmacy Technician Registration/License with the State of Vermont Board of Pharmacy as well as their National Certification in good standing.
EXPERIENCE:
Three years technician experience as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalency required.
Five years preferred.
