The Administrative Assistant III (AA3) functions as both the Image Librarian Assistant and Scheduling Coordinator within the Radiology department. Key responsibilities include managing the Image Library, Onsite Scheduling, and handling appointment logistics such as rescheduling and cancellations. Additionally, the AA3 is tasked with digitizing hardcopy images, processing CD uploads, and managing LILA's and ROI's, while also attending to phone inquiries. This role demands maximum flexibility and multitasking abilities, coupled with the capacity to rotate to existing Radiology Areas as required for optimal operational efficiency.

Salary Range: $28.23 - $40.44 Hourly

Qualifications

    • * At least 2 years in a Radiology department and HIS, RIS, iCAP, Microsoft Outlook, IDX, GE competent - preferred
    • * Strong working knowledge of personal computers, PACSCUBE CD Burner, Array Digitizer - strongly preferred
    • * Ability to handle confidentiality issues with tact and diplomacy
    • * Medical terminology to a level permitting accurate preparation of scheduling patient procedures interacting with physicians, patients and staff
    • * Skill in quickly assimilating and retaining a large body of financial screening and patient registration information
    • * Working knowledge of hospital/billing forms and the ability to explain services and charges to patients and/or family
