Our client's office in Norcross, GA is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team in a pediatric dental practice. They are committed to fostering a welcoming environment where long-term relationships with their teams, patients, and communities are valued.
Salary: $40 to $50/hour
Position Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Perform oral care procedures including debridement, hand scaling, and regular cleanings for pediatric patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices to promote and maintain good oral health.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Georgia.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certification in Local Anesthesia.
- Demonstrated ability to connect with pediatric patients.
- Driven, with a sense of urgency to provide exceptional care.
- Professional, courteous, and approachable demeanor.
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Current CPR certification.
- Willingness to undergo annual Tuberculosis (TB) and Rubella screenings.
