Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Communicate with faculty and students assisting with department needs and requests
  • Provide graduate support including Directors of Graduate Studies (DGS) within Portfolio 2 (assigned academic departments)
  • Provide state application reports and updates
  • Prepare requied assistantship documentation for tuition waivers and insurance subsidies
  • Serve as a liaison to the Graduate School
  • Coordinate social media - content, story assignments - and serve as liaison to the College of Arts and Science Communications team
  • Provide security to the Bingham Gallery including opening and closing daily
  • Monitor security cameras
  • Order keys, coordinate badge access and submit work orders
  • Provide space planning support for daily activities and special event
  • Hire work study students for department and supervise clerical work study students
  • Maintain locker registration for student use
Shift

Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

A successful candidate takes initiative to take care of faculty and students. Prior experience with student or administrative support.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $16.72 to 22.91 per hour.

Grade: GGS 007
