Summary: The Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and bagging machines.
Ability to operate a variety of hand tools to include welding machines, cutting torches and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in production maintenance.
3-5 years industrial maintenance experience including working knowledge of electric motors, gearboxes, conveyors, PLCs, controls systems, bagging equipment, bearings, and other OEM food manufacturing equipment.
Strong communication skills and ability to problem solve and troubleshoot diverse breakdowns.
Proficient in various software programs such as Microsoft applications and experience with a CMMS program.

This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $25.56to $43.13.
