Job Description

We are seeking candidates for a Sr. Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager at Smart Care Solutions. This position will serve as a critical partner to the company as the primary contact for administration and reporting of various Workday modules including HCM, Talent Acquisition, Time & Attendance, Payroll, and Benefits. The Sr. HRIS Manager position along with the Sr. HRIS Analyst provides day-to-day support and configuration for Workday to assist HR, managers and employees. This position reports directly to our VP Human Resources.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and analytical skills, close attention to detail, and strong problem solving skills to determine root causes of technical problems with the ability to document effectively, escalate appropriately, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage and develop Sr. HRIS Analyst. Ensure that reporting and analysis work completed meets business needs and is thorough and accurate. Build capabilities for data gathering and data consolidation/analysis for companies not currently on Workday platform.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits modules.
  • Act as internal Project Manager for new company integrations/migrations/implementations onto the Workday platform or implementation of new Workday modules for the enterprise.
  • Lead acquisition data validation, configuration and uploading into HRIS system for newly acquired companies.
  • Maintain and support Workday security, organizational structures, business processes, tasks, notifications, system enhancements/release updates and provide data entry support.
  • Consult with stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization and recommend Workday solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
  • Perform system administration functions including set-up tasks, business process configuration, testing, custom objects, calculated fields, and processing of EIBs.
  • Provide required HRIS reporting and use analytical skills to identify key metrics, trends, and help identify and resolve business issues.
  • Serve as a resource for HR team members, managers and individual Workday users.
  • Develop and conduct formal and informal training sessions regarding HRIS features and functionality for HR, Managers and Employees.
  • Actively participate in business and human resource projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or other related area or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of five years of human resources experience supporting HRIS systems and reporting
  • Three years prior Workday HCM experience
  • Process oriented; methodical, analytical and organized
  • Interest and aptitude in problem solving, data analytics, and statistical analysis
  • Functional knowledge of Human Resources business processes for benefits, compensation, payroll, performance, recruiting, talent and supporting functions
  • Ability to identify and tackle problems proactively, researches and presents multiple solutions to problems
  • Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise release notes and documentation
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR projects which impacted multiple systems, processes and/or third party administrators

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with Workday HRIS system implementation highly desired
  • Prior project and people management experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, time and project management skills
  • Experience in requirements gathering, design, and test case creation
  • Experience in report writing applications
  • MBA or MA in Human Resources
  • Customer service focused
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and implement solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with technical aptitude
