Job Description:

Support the Bank's mission by directing economic development programs and assisting with affordable housing programs for low- and moderate-income households. Design and implement outreach strategies to promote the Bank's community investment programs to a diverse range of potential participants.

Accountabilities:

  • Administer the Access to Housing and Economic Assistance for Development (AHEAD) program, member matching program and other donation programs, and related reporting to the Board of Directors, Community Support Program Committee (CSPC), and Affordable Housing Advisory Council (AHAC).
  • Support administration of the Quality Jobs Fund (QJF) including reporting to the Board, CSPC, and QJF Advisory Council as needed.
  • Propose revisions to economic development programs to address Bank district needs and improve program efficiency.
  • Assist with administration of the Affordable Housing Program (AHP) Set-Aside homeownership programs as needed.
  • Assist with the Targeted Community Lending Plan including identification of district needs, community investment program data collection, quantitative goal development and tracking, editing, and status update reports to the Board, CSPC, and AHAC.
  • Develop Community Investment Department (CID) goals for the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and manage goal achievement and monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Provide regular updates to manager on status of accountabilities.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with Bank team members within CID and other departments on accountabilities (e.g. Marketing, Public Affairs, Relationship Management, Human Resources, Legal, Accounting, Audit, and Risk).
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with external groups such as member institutions, community-based economic development organizations, foundations, and government agencies that support and leverage the Bank's community investment programs.
  • Coordinate Bank-hosted outreach events and represent the Bank as a presenter at events as needed.
  • Manage ad hoc projects as requested.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • Minimum five years' experience in administering community investment programs preferred.
  • Big picture thinking, supports a collaborative team culture and thrives at coordinating work between multiple parties both within and outside of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Process-oriented, very organized with impeccable attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point).
  • Proactive and able to work autonomously when necessary.
  • Ability to engage in day-to-day office work. No task is too small.

SALARY RANGE: $130K - $145K
