Overview

R&P is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Management Analyst who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Financial Management Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program supporting the design, production, test and delivery of U.S. Navy warships and oversight of shipyard performance.

Responsibilities
    Provides financial and management support in the area of budget development, execution and reporting.
  • Assists in the development of current year and out year Task Planning Sheet requirements.
  • Using Navy financial tools, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), Budget Planning System (BPS), and Electronic Data Warehouse (EDW) conducts analyses, reports status, and advises the Business Financial Manager of strategies to mitigate financial risks on program close out.
  • Assists the program in responding to internal and external inquiries and requests for program information.
  • Assists in the preparation of funding execution documents, track and analyze program financial transactions, and assist in the development of obligation phasing plans.
  • Assists in data accumulation and provide weekly financial status reports to help and identify potential funding issues.
  • Prepares budget exhibits using Program Budget Information System (PBIS) database, including PDOCS and RDOCs and assist in identification, justification, and defense of the financial resources for both current budgets and out-year forecasts.
  • Assists in gaining acceptance for the Mid-Year Reviews and SCN Execution Reviews and assists in preparing budget presentations to document and defend yearly submissions to ASN Financial Management and Comptroller (ASN FM&C), OSD and Congress.
  • Statutory and Regulatory Reports.
  • Provides input and advises the Government of statutory and regulatory reports.
  • Assists in the preparation of Acquisition Reports.
  • Maintains records of financial history and related documents.
  • Researches and prepares inputs to various financial issues that confront the Program Office.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field
  • 10+ years relevant experience in Financial Management or financial/cost analysis.
  • DoD Financial Management; PPBE; ERP; NEPS experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
