Full Time People Services (HR) Director

In this role, you will manage all aspects of People Services (HR). You will oversee the day-to-day People Services activities. You will help to plan, develop and direct initiatives, programs and activities that support Ecumen's business goals. Additionally, you will participate in business planning activities, and provide input on strategy and policies that relate to People Services. You will partner and be supported by on-site leadership as well as close collaboration with the Regional People Services Field Manager. You will have supportive resources from our other People Services Departments which include: Total Rewards, Workforce Strategy, Employee Relations, Learning and Development, and Employee Safety and Risk.

People Services Director Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, a related healthcare field, or equivalent years of experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
  • A broad People Services (HR) background including servant leadership, organizational development, employee relations, coaching and team development
  • The ability to hold crucial conversations with team members when needed and utilize conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • The ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM certification
  • Experience with HRIS software, E-Verify, Google, and Applicant Tracking Tools
  • Experience working in a Union environment
  • Prior experience in the senior services
