Job Summary
- Provides care to patients of all ages and assistance to the chiropractor through imaging, insurance explanations, and front office duties.
- Provides excellent service to patients, visitors and quality support to the provider and other clinic staff.
- Registers patients, verifies and enters accurate information, collects patient payments, answers multiple phone lines, schedules appointments, and performs various clerical duties.
- Must have 6 months experience in the healthcare field, excellent communication skills, some knowledge of Word and Outlook, good data entry/typing skills and a strong ability to multi-task.
- Prefer knowledge of medical terminology and Chiropractic care.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer knowledge required.
- Prefer additional education in medical terminology, electronic medical record training, or chiropractic assistance certification.
Experience
- One-year clerical experience and healthcare experience are required.
- Prefer medical office, insurance, hospital or computer experience.
- Accurate keyboard skills.
- Expertise in customer relations, health insurance benefits, or X-Ray imaging is a plus.
- Prefer at least one year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care.
- Experience in office clerical activities desirable. X-Ray certification a plus.
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)
Licensure/Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
- CMA or RMA preferred.
Compensation/Benefits
- $13.21-$21.58/hr depending on previous work experience.

Monday- Wednesday 8:00-5:00 and Thursdays 8:00-12:30
