Senior Survey CADD Technician - Tavares, FL
Halff has a current opening for a Senior Survey CADD Technician in our Tavares, Florida location.
The successful candidate will assist in the production of land development, boundary, design, topographic, route, utility, and ALTA surveys.
Senior Survey CADD Technician Responsibilities:
  • Organizing research for field
  • Reducing field observations
  • Preparing data for drafting
  • Preparing and producing legal descriptions
  • Preparing and producing deed sketches
  • Assisting the PSM by preparing Survey Reports
  • Preparing COGO calculations
  • Assisting the PSM with the Boundary Analysis
  • Preparing and drafting survey maps and plats
Senior Survey CADD Technician Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as survey technician in the following areas: Land Development (Subdivisions), Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, ALTA Land Title Surveys and/or Route Design Surveys
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience in producing survey maps and plats.
  • Previous field experience as a surveyor is a plus.
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center
  • CST certification preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work well with Survey Team Leaders, Project Managers and Field Crews
  • Must have excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proficiently.
