Job Description

The Lending Center Manager will be responsible for overseeing a Corporate Banking commercial lending team and be responsible for:

  • Achieving revenue growth goals and effectively increasing market share while maintaining a high level of credit quality.
  • Developing new-to-bank business relationships
  • Executing sales, relationship and service strategies for the lending team that are in alignment with the Division business plan.
  • Cross-selling other Bank products and services to new and existing clients.
  • Balancing of customer satisfaction and relationship profitability.
  • Providing leadership focused on safe and sound underwriting practices while structuring loans appropriately to balance risk and reward.
  • Ensuring that the lending center's activities are carried out in accordance with all regulatory, legal, and governmental regulations and with adherence to internal control policies and procedures.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Undergraduate business degree, advanced degree is preferred
  • Should have a minimum of 10 years commercial banking experience
  • Advanced knowledge of credit process and formal credit training required
  • Prior commercial business development experience
  • Must be team oriented
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Must have a sharp business development focus
  • Must have strong organization skills
  • Must be able to express a sound opinion, and able to agreeably disagree
