Responsible for ensuring the greatest value is achieved in the processing of HCP contracts and indirect spend for the client and that it is done compliantly, efficiently, and has been routed through appropriate processes. The HCP Contracting Specialist performs transactions within the appropriate (Ariba SmartBuy P2O, SAP ERP, Centris, Cvent) systems and interfaces with the clients' Accounts Payable and Vendor Master Data departments within the Clients' Shared Service Center.

Primary Responsibilities

Understands business needs for their area of responsibility & engages with stakeholders to meet their priorities and requirements therefore building effective, relationships with country stakeholders and senior executives. Receives category demand requests and validates they are channeled in the appropriate way to ensure alignment with strategies, compliance, and optimal cycle times. Initiates and executes supply agreements & contract creation process through use of the Contract Lifecycle Management System (CLMS).Minimizes exposure to contractual risks in external relationships. Provides regular status updates to management and escalates unresolved issues for resolution.

Acts as process expert for their assigned area of responsibility. Primary compliance expert monitoring clients' guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance and delivery of contract management. Works with stakeholders and contributors to identify, prioritize and coordinate continuous process improvement activities, with particular focus on optimizing the key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

1.Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience required.

2.Experience with Healthcare Professionals, related policies and systems, and related contracting process required.

3. Excellent communication strategy and messaging skills with the ability to build long term partnerships

4.Experience with meeting technology tools such as Cvent required.

5.Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; internal, client and partner.

6.Intermediate Excel, Word, and Outlook skills required.

7.Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for technology and/or software required.

8.Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certification is a plus.
