Job Description
Job Title: Data Analyst
Duration: 4 months (possibility of extension)
Location: North Chicago, IL 60064 / hybrid onsite (3 days a week)

Job Description:
  • Develop and manage complex data models, datasets, and reports using tools such as PowerBi, SNOW, SAP, and Jira.
  • Transform raw data into visually appealing and impactful dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to gather reporting requirements and understand data needs.
  • Design and implement innovative data visualizations with OBI that effectively communicate insights.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
  • Optimize and ensure the performance of our Health Index through PowerBI reports and dashboards.
  • Assist with document processes related to data governance and visualization.

Qualifications:

* Proficiency in Excel: A strong understanding of Excel including knowledge of formulas, functions, data manipulation, sorting, filtering, pivot tables, and data visualization.
* Power BI expertise: Familiarity with Power BI. This includes the ability to create dashboards, reports, and visualizations, as well as knowledge of data modeling, DAX formulas, and data transformation.
* Data analysis skills: Strong analytical skills to extract insights from data. Ability to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, as well as conduct statistical analysis and data profiling.
* Statistical knowledge: A understanding of statistics is valuable for data analysts. Knowledge of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and data sampling techniques can help in interpreting and analyzing data accurately.
* Data visualization: The ability to present data in a visually appealing and meaningful way. Familiarity with various data visualization tools and techniques, such as charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards
* Problem-solving skills: ability to identify problems, develop analytical approaches, and propose data-driven solutions.
* Attention to detail: Accuracy and attention to detail to ensure that data is clean, properly formatted, and correctly interpreted to avoid errors in analysis.
* Ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a team player.
