Requisition ID req29311 Working Title Sr Fiscal Services Tech Position Grade 11 Position Summary

Project ECHO has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Fiscal Services Tech to join our Finance Team! This individual will be responsible for supporting the finance team through PCard expertise and leadership, oversight of partner financial translation/interpretation processes, and report management.

As a successful Sr. Fiscal Services Tech, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing organization wide purchasing including restricted and unrestricted expenditures using PCard
  • Maintaining interpretation/translation requests through Smartsheet and initiating payments to vendors
  • Processing all honorarium requests for restricted and unrestricted indices
  • Assisting accountants in setting up indices for new awards.
  • Preparing numerous ledgers and processes stipends for the ECHO Education Team
  • Coordinating approvals with UNM for annual renewals including mail service, fed ex, printing, etc. while ensuring correctness of budget
  • Maintaining and verifying ChromeRiver PCard Expense Reports
  • Receiving, processing, and balancing all checks/cash received for deposit
  • Maintaining standard operating procedures for PCard, food purchasing, rental cars, translation/interpretation, etc.

Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1-year experience with Chrome river, Lobomart, and Pcard Purchase
  • A demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply UNM Administrative Policies, including but not limited to UNM PCard,
  • Purchasing and Travel Policies, and UNM Chart of Accounts
  • A demonstrated ability of high attention to detail and accuracy
  • A demonstrated ability of strong organizational and time management skills
  • A demonstrated ability to Work Independently and Prioritize Work Assignments
  • A demonstrated ability of Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills in a Fast Pace Work Environment
  • A demonstrated ability to Research issues that arise using Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills
