Job Description

Position Summary:

Milacron is looking for a Sales Project Engineer to join our team in Batavia, OH. As a Sales Project Engineer, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive sales quotations, tracking order progress, assist customers and internal organization with order issues, working closely with the sales organization to determine order specifications, and collaborating with manufacturing to set delivery dates and troubleshoot.

Work You'll Do:

  • Advise and support sales and customers in the selection of the correct equipment for specific applications

  • Prepare sales quotations for sales organization

  • Develop equipment cost analysis for elements of proposals

  • Coordinate engineering design and track order progress

  • Investigate problem orders and provide improvement suggestions

  • Help in the development of sales tools

  • Stay current on regulations involving machine manufacturing

  • Provide technical support and direction for existing product lines

  • Assist with training new associates and sales engineers

Team:

The Sales Project Engineer reports directly to the Sales Project Engineering Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude

  • ERP and CRM experience, Oracle and Salesforce highly preferred

  • Ability to work with multiple projects and multitask in a specialty product environment

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in business or engineering field of study
