Social Media Lead

The Social Media Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing strategic social media initiatives to maximize brand awareness and conversions. Responsibilities include managing Zaner-Bloser's social media strategy and tactics, ensuring organic and paid social media campaigns receive high engagement and drive new followers, and analyzing campaign performance for optimization recommendations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic approach to content ideation that aligns with our business objectives and is informed by our buyer's journey, personas, analytics, and industry trends
  • Leverage social media listening tools to monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activities, and use the insights to refine strategies and identify opportunities for engagement and acquisition
  • Advise product experts, copywriters and designers on paid and organic social media best practices to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and optimized for performance
  • Stay current with social media best practices and evolving platforms and technologies
  • Schedule organic and paid social campaigns and maintain content calendar
  • Monitor and respond to comments from users across social channels
  • Change agent comfortable with proposing process improvements and efficiencies
  • Track success of organic and paid social campaigns from goal setting to defining and tracking social media KPIs

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on social media experience
  • Bachelors' Degree in Marketing or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  • Proficiency in using AgoraPulse or a similar social media management software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Content writing experience a plus
  • Highly motivated with ability to thrive in a fluid environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Organized with a high attention to detail
  • Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic with a growth mindset
