About the Role

As a Site administrator, provide day-to-day end user technical support and guidance to ensure functionality and efficiency.

Your Team

This is a site administrator role reporting to the EUC Manager for the region. The role will involve the day-to-day on-site support of end-user computing in the Novi, Michigan office.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure desktop support internal processes and procedures are adhered to our standards

  • Manage incidents/ service requests assigned until resolution/ execution

  • Provide support to local and remote end users

  • Handle end-user escalation effectively and involve EUC Manager accordingly

  • Route/assign tickets to appropriate support group if necessary, identifying and escalating high priority, high severity issues

  • Update pending tickets with timely, precise and accurate information

  • Following up with end users or support groups, if necessary, for closure of pending tickets

  • Creating and uploading knowledge base articles

  • Provide support to internal projects and ensure all assigned projects deliverables are completed

  • Understanding on Microsoft (MS) Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, network cabling and patching

  • Perform application support, mobile device support, PC imaging, and asset management

  • Hands and feet support for Network, Security, Server (Windows and Linux), and Unified Communications towers

What You Need

  • Experience in core End User services domain

  • Knowledge of computer/ Laptops/ Printers/ peripheral troubleshooting

  • Knowledge of Office applications, MS M365, security clients, patch management, etc.

  • Experience and knowledge in various methodologies and models for end user services delivery.

  • Must have sound troubleshooting knowledge of Operating systems (MS Windows 10 and 11, Linux, MAC OS)

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to work in an office in Novi, MI - 40 hour work week- onsite

  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

  • Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work.

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program

  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA

  • Must provide full work availability for 12 weeks from start date- possible extension during academic year
