Hawkins Ash CPAs is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operations Officer (CFO/COO) for our La Crosse, Green Bay, or Neenah office.

As a CFO/COO you will:

  • Collaborate closely with the Managing Partner to steer our financial and operational strategies towards long-term success and expansion.
  • Lead and inspire our Human Resources, Marketing, and Firm Accounting teams, championing a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Engage in the strategic planning process, where you will contribute to setting goals and ensure effective implementation.
  • Take the helm as our Risk Officer, safeguarding our interests by meticulously reviewing contracts, analyzing risk incidents, and implementing innovative risk management strategies.
  • Oversee critical functions including professional liability insurance, financial reporting, and banking operations, ensuring seamless efficiency at every turn.
  • Manage our real estate portfolio, 401(k) Plan administration, Partnership Life Insurance, and orchestrate accounts receivable collections with precision.
  • Craft meticulously detailed operating and capital budgets, empowering our firm to thrive in any economic landscape.
  • Keep a keen eye on our cash flow, forecasting with accuracy to ensure stability and growth.
  • Provide support to our Partners-in-Charge with their office needs.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years of similar or related experience
  • Experience in overseeing multiple teams
  • Strong financial background overseeing financial reporting process required
  • Experience negotiating with vendors, contractors, etc.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Strong communications skills and effective presentation skills
