Job Summary
The Senior TA Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting Fishbeck's growth and success through talent acquisition and performance management needs within technical departments. The position will work closely with a team of HR Generalists to ensure effective HR operations and aid in the support for the entire firm. This role is pivotal in driving our strategic objectives by attracting and retaining top-tier talent through innovative and efficient HR practices.
Primary Functions
  • Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans that align with firm goals.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for various levels of positions, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies and universities for talent pipeline development.
  • Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, workforce planning, and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in the selection process to ensure the right cultural fit and skillset.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing recruitment processes.
  • Implement technology solutions and tools to streamline recruitment workflows.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement in talent acquisition and retention.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures and documentation for HR processes.
  • Lead initiatives to improve overall staff experience and engagement.
  • Work in collaboration with a team of HR generalists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement strategies for staff retention.
  • Conduct regular assessments of turnover and implement initiatives to address retention challenges.
  • Address performance issues and work on improvement plans when necessary.
  • Implement and enforce Fishbeck's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and present reports on recruitment and retention metrics to firm leaders.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Minimum Physical Requirements
Exposed to occasional lifting and carrying. Will have normal office working conditions and be required to sit and use a computer. Able to use various technical equipment for communication and documentation. Visual acuity necessary to perform responsibilities. Desired Education/Licensure
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification is a plus.
Desired Skills/Experience
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on talent acquisition.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR technology/ATS systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to mentor, lead, and develop employees and/or HR professionals.
