The Regional Controller oversees (and assists as needed) Operating Unit accounting and finance staff and provides guidance and direction. Assists Operating Unit Presidents with financial and project analysis as needed. Provides the corporate office with related information required by them to carry out their assigned responsibilities. Maintains the companys system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets for the region. Assures protection for the assets of the business through internal controls and monitoring performance.

Job Functions
  • Keeps the COO and CFO informed of the companys performance and provides advice on all financial matters within the Region
  • Is seen as a business partner and resource for the Operating Unit Presidents within the Region
  • Evaluate the performance of accounting and finance personnel within the Region and recommend training and changes as needed
  • Ensures accurate and timely preparation of monthly and annual Operating Unit financial statements
  • Ensures Tectas delegation of authority and corporate policies are adhered to
  • Provides corporate office with relevant audit, tax, insurance, and other information as needed
  • Ensures credit and collection procedures are followed, and monitors collections and payments
  • May assist with M&A due diligence and leads acquisition integration within the Region
  • Assumes other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed

Requirements:
  • B.S. or B.A. in accounting
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in industry accounting with at least 5+ years in percentage completion project accounting environment
  • 5+ years experience in a multi-company/multi- location environment
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills
  • Strong Knowledge of Enterprise Resource System software
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of business and management principles
  • Prior experience in roofing industry a plus!

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year plus BONUS
