General Summary

The Contracts Paralegal will provide legal support on a broad spectrum of contract matters focusing on global procurement arrangements and real estate transactions. This paralegal will also support the Campbell Snacks division in its direct-store-delivery (DSD) network. The ideal candidate will be a commercially minded, pragmatic individual that can work effectively with many business clients in a cross-functional, collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The Commercial Transactions Paralegal position is based in Campbell's World Headquarters in Camden, New Jersey, with the opportunity to work remotely two days a week. The Commercial Transactions Paralegal will report to Campbell's Vice President and Chief Corporate Counsel.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Campbell's transactional attorneys to review, draft, negotiate and manage various commercial agreements with an emphasis on global procurement arrangements and real estate transactions.
  • Assist Campbell's transactional attorneys in advising business teams on various commercial matters, including with respect to the direct-store-delivery (DSD) model.
  • Assist with corporate transactions.
  • Conduct regular compliance training as directed by management.
  • Support organization-wide legal projects and initiatives.
  • Provide assistance on additional matters as needed and directed by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Paralegal Certificate a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience negotiating procurement agreements/contracts, which could include MSAs (Master Services Agreements), SOWs (Statements of Work), amendments and real estate lease agreements.
  • Demonstrated collaborator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively and efficiently with business partners and to operate with limited daily supervision.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with the iManage document management system preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$72,900-$117,300

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
