Job Summary

Benjamin Moore & Co. has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Human Resource Business Partner. This role is responsible for regional multi-site support for our Manufacturing and Distribution within the US.

The Regional Human Resources Business Partner (RHRBP) is a trusted advisor and thought partner to supply chain management to ensure they can carry out the practice of their human resources responsibilities with their staff as appropriate. The RHRBP maintains an effective level of professional business literacy about the supply chain function, its plans, and its culture to provide a spectrum of strategic and tactical HR support to ensure alignment of HR programs. You will need a flexible skill set, including a collaborative, confident, influential, and proactive style, the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and build strong trusting relationships with all levels of management.

This role will be based at our Aurora, Colorado Distribution Center and support, Oakland, Ca, Pomona, Ca, Tumwater, WA and Carol Stream, Il Distribution Centers.

Responsibilities

    Develop and nurture strong partnerships to effectively advise, counsel, and coach management and employees on human resources-related issues.
  • Works with management and employees to interpret policies and guidelines, improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, corrective actions).
  • Partners with management to communicate, facilitate, and champion Corporate HR programs, initiatives, and compliance.
  • Develop strategies to conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Work on HR projects is support of the employee life cycle and employees experience as assigned.
  • Provides guidance and input on restructuring, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition, management, and local admins to ensure the full cycle for recruiting, selection, and onboarding are complete.
  • Partners and provides guidance and support to local management and Admin for activities relating to benefits and communications (e.g., Open Enrollment, Employee Recognition, Wellness, etc.)
  • Works with management and Benefits to manage leaves of absence.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of supply chain organization especially in manufacturing and distribution, preferred.
  • 5-7+ years as a Human Resources Business Partner/Generalist; required to have site/field experience
  • The ability to work effectively with several remote locations management teams and establish positive trusting working relationships
  • Ability to handle both transactional and strategic HR support
  • Imperative to have a proactive and self-directed leadership style
  • Extremely strong communication and interpersonal skills for all levels of the organization
  • Ability to listen effectively and handle difficult conversations of confidential matter
  • Demonstrated experience with HR program design and implementation
  • Proven coaching and facilitation skills to effectively develop mid-level management.
  • A collaborative style, proactively builds strong, supportive relationships
  • 20% or more, travel required to support sites within this region as needed
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include off shifts and travel to regional facilities as needed
  • Experience with HRIS and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • SPHR Certification a plus

This position offers a competitive salary with a range of $92,000k - $114,000. Our compensation package also includes a bonus target of 10% of base pay and eligibility for medical, dental, vision and other supplemental benefits.
