SUMMARY:
Avetta is experiencing rapid growth and adding a key member to the Finance team to support continued growth. We are looking for a proactive, dynamic, hands-on, and collaborative experienced Finance professional to support Finance and cross functional leadership globally. The Analyst- FP&A will support Avetta's strategic decision making, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, M&A, and digital transformation efforts. The right candidate will have a demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, data analytics, and related systems. Candidate will have a solid founding in accounting and corporate finance principles. You must be an organized and high-energy professional with an eye for detail; able to execute and proactively run with projects autonomously within a collaborative environment. This role is a hybrid opportunity working 3 days in Lehi office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Play a key role in developing a world-class Finance function, including, but not limited to, external reporting, quarterly forecasting, annual budgets, strategic planning, multi-year forecast, top-line analysis / metrics, expense / investment management, M&A activity, process, and system re-design.
- Support the consolidation, assessment, and reporting of business plan performance, including risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions to identify value creation opportunities that improve business outcomes.
- Prepare financial reports including GAAP Revenue Bridge/ ARR and KPI dashboards, which combine data from multiple sources, and provide management with insightful summary and drill-down information to support decisions.
- Play a key role in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages delivered to internal executives and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with human resources and executives to facilitate headcount planning and management; monitor, track, and ensure executed within approved parameters.
- Work closely with outside service providers, internal development teams, Accounting, and Sales Ops to automate reporting, KPI dashboards, and model inputs.
- Monitor performance, analyze trends, causes of variances, and develop actions for course corrections.
- Support M&A activity via modeling, due diligence, and integration
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- B.S. Finance and/or Accounting
- 2+ yrs. experience in FP&A, Consulting, and/or Operations roles
- FP&A and Private Equity Portfolio Company experience preferred.
- Software / SaaS experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of ERP, reporting, planning, and Power BI systems
- Supported annual budgeting, short-term and multi-year forecasting.
- Planning software implementation experience
- Familiarity of OneStream and SalesForce.com, a plus
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills; ideal candidate has used complex Excel functions, Pivot Tables, and Macros
