We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Tutor to join our team for 20 hours per week. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves working with children and wants to make a meaningful difference in their lives and families within our community.

A day in the life of a Tutor


The Tutor is a licensed teaching professional who travels and/or provides instruction to a student who needs additional help with their studies. The Tutor will develop lesson plans and instructional materials that will be referenced to provide instruction in the subject areas of English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies (must align with the Ohio State Standards). The Tutor will also collaborate with the intervention specialist and general education teachers to ensure that the appropriate instruction, accommodations, modifications, and supports are applied as outlined in students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). In addition, the role will appropriately communicate with parents/guardians.

What is Required to be a 7th Grade Tutor at PSI

  • Teaching License issued ODE (required)
  • Bachelor's degree (required)
