Experienced Non-Manager

We are currently looking for an HR Generalist to join our growing team.

Schedule is full-time, Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm. This position is located in Sarasota, FL and is not a remote position.

Radiant Power Corp. delivers the highest levels of quality and reliability from our full range of aerospace products. We provide a wide variety of emergency power supplies, power distribution and control sub-systems, flight deck sensors and instruments, a full suite of passenger comfort/cabin products, AeroELT Emergency Locator Transmitters and our Dukane-Seacom Underwater Locator Beacons.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.


This role is responsible for daily activities involving recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and payroll.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Partners with Team Members and Management to communicate and enforce various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws and government regulations.
  • Works with department Supervisors/Managers to determine staffing needs.
  • Develop relationships with temp agencies and local government employment services to find qualified candidates.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate interviews.
  • Maintains Job Descriptions.
  • Establishes and maintains records including Team Member files and training records.
  • Coordinates wellness events.
  • Processes all new-hire paperwork, to include verification of work eligibility.
  • Conducts Benefits Orientation with eligible Team Members.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment litigation and ensures compliance with Federal and State laws.
  • Participate in audits as needed.
  • Works closely with HEICO Corporate HR and Payroll departments.
  • Other duties as required.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related HR experience.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP Certificate is preferred
  • Must read, write and communicate in English. Spanish language skills a plus
  • Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communications skills, be well-organized, flexible and able to support a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Must have demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining diverse employee talent, including creating and implementing recruitment strategies
  • Comfortable using MS Office Suite; including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and MSWord
  • Sustained dependable attendance.
  • Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
  • Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Position located in an office environment, with exposure to the manufacturing floor when needed.
  • Domestic business related travel, valid driver's license required.
  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time.
  • Regularly required to walk up and down stairs.
