Atrium Health Levine Children's is seeking a part-time BC/BE Pediatric Hospital Medicine Physician to join their team of 75 + providers serving 5 Pediatric Inpatient locations in the greater Charlotte area. This is an excellent opportunity for parents, travel enthusiasts, or anyone looking to work 2-3 weekends per month.

Position details:

• Weekend Day Position at Levine Children's Hospital. Schedule consists of 13-hour shifts(7am-8pm) Friday through Sunday for two weekends a month. Alternatively, 3 weekends of Saturday and Sunday shifts can be arranged.
• Job responsibilities include performing admissions and consultations to the inpatient pediatric service, including supervision of Pediatric Residents, Students and Advanced Practice Providers on the admission team. Additional responsibilities include emergency response and Code Blue attendance and evening cross-cover of hospitalist patients.
• No Call or Delivery Coverage

Qualification requirements:

• BC/BE in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is required
• Experience with lumbar puncture, patients with medical complexity and progressive level acuity is necessary

The highly anticipated opening of the Wake Forest School of Medicine - Charlotte Campus in 2024 will provide additional opportunities for education, quality improvement and clinical research.
