This leadership role is based in the beautiful Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN area! We offer a mix of work from home - remote work, team meetings in office in Plymouth, MN, and travel to southern Minnesota region at times.

Primary responsibilities:
- Provide daily consultation, supervision, and oversight of assigned staff
- Participate in individual and group supervision including consultation to review cases and ensure best practices are provided to all children and families
- Report timely and thorough information regarding case incidence, service delivery struggles and difficult team process
- Support and participate in the coordination of staff meetings and trainings; provide supervision and directives for effective service delivery
- Participate in the selection, training, ongoing development, and performance evaluation of assigned staff
- Coordinate activities and schedules of supervisees, as needed
- Assist in the management, implementation, and maintenance of all components of the strengths-based, trauma-informed, family-engaged treatment program.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining operational and/or program procedures and systems that support efficient and effective delivery of treatment services to clients
- Ensure and enforce sufficient staff/client ratios. Provides coverage for absences and emergencies and for any on-call staff usage
- Remain apprised of changing and emerging regulations and/or licensing requirements pertaining to foster care services; ensure and enforce compliance with licensing requirements
- Work closely with Licensing Coordinator regarding referral coordination, overseeing placement of children, managing, assigning and tracking foster parent inquiries and licensing obligations
- Recruit, license, train and supervise the assessment of resource families to ensure quality care
- Monitor and evaluate foster and adoptive parent's activities and adhere to state and federal licensing guidelines and laws pertaining to foster care as well as COA requirements
- Participate in the development and implementation of local, regional, and state plans for recruiting and retaining resource families
- Ensure workers are following all state guidelines for conducting family/home study, physical environment inspection and criminal background checks and provide required documentation for initial and ongoing licensing
- Coordinate required orientation and ongoing education and skill development for resource families
- Ensure appropriate supervision of workers resource families' interactions with foster child, child's family, treatment team members and collateral contacts
- Submit critical incident reports and develop and implement corrective action plans as required
- Ensure all workers meet requirements for foster home visitation
- Provide crisis intervention as needed to maintain safety and provide for the best interest of the child and foster family
- Comply with local office procedure for referral and service delivery
- Complete a systemic assessment of child and family needs
- Provide complete and required documentation, within established timelines relating to case management and treatment planning
- Provide direction to other team members when applicable and make recommendations for discharge, finalization & permanency
- Meet requirements for youth / family contacts
- Assist in planning and scheduling the clients' daily treatment services, family contact and visits, special events, functions, and program trips, and ensure transportation and supervision needs are met
- Interact with and appreciate individuals from diverse, cultural, social, economic and religious backgrounds; exhibit a high degree of ethical conduct, integrity and confidentiality at all times
- Provide additional case coverage as needed
- Participate in staff and individual supervisory meetings
- Ensure confidentiality of all treatment and services information pertaining to clients and their foster, adoptive and biological families
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Human/Social Services, Psychology or clinically related field
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Minimum of five years of experience in related Human Services community based case work, working with youth and families
- Requires the eligibility for the following license obtained in the state of Minnesota: LSW, LGSW, LMSW, LICSW
- Valid driver's license required. Must meet state regulating agency driving requirements and pass corporate insurance eligibility standards

Occasional business travel to site business offices or company sponsored events may be required.
