Jefferson Consulting Group is seeking a Business Process Specialist to support the Forest Service.

This role will be fully remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in leading client engagements in strategic planning, operational assessments, requirements development, business process re-engineering, and program management.

  • Research, compile, analyze, visualize, and report data for trends.

  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and track project activities.

  • Create, maintain, and adhere to project plans and schedules.

  • Develop high quality templates, frameworks, and reports.

  • Draft deliverables required under Jefferson's federal contracts. Examples of deliverables include Performance Work Statements and other requirements documents defining government needs, strategic plans, project charters, organizational assessment reports, business process improvement studies, and summaries and analysis of topics of interest.

  • Correspond and effectively and professionally communicate with government officials.

  • Facilitate and support meetings, including working with stakeholders to develop agendas, co-leading facilitation of the meeting, and documenting and following up on action items.

  • Support the development and delivery of training.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.

  • At least one year of experience in management consulting to federal agencies.

  • Working knowledge of federal acquisitions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, writing, and analytical skills to effectively interact with government clients and industry partners.

  • Attention to detail, high standards of excellence, ability to multitask, and commitment to perform and execute all project activities successfully.
