Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits seeks a Regional Manager of the Caribbean Islands to join our International team! This position is based in Florida and the Caribbean islands and reports to the Regional Director of Caribbean/Mexico and Central America.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute against depletion goals, profitability goals, and brand standards for pricing in the market
  • Grow our share of the on-premise trade within both wine and spirits
  • Monitor and manage distributor program execution vs. goals and plan
  • Work with distributor management to execute against program objectives
  • Develop and implement distributor programs based on brand initiatives
  • Conduct sales meetings and product presentations for distributor sales staff
  • Motivate and manage distributor sales force and executives through leadership; inspire confidence, gain respect as an effective company spokesman
  • Oversee and direct brand development by identifying new account opportunities
  • Oversee, monitor and evaluate program execution while controlling effective use of merchandising material
  • Utilize distributor account sold data to achieve improved brand position
  • Manage sales promotion budgets in accordance with company policy and brand/company objectives
  • Analyze quarterly order cycles and depletion reports to generate adequate and timely orders based on brand budget or trend with analyst
  • Calling on all current Caribbean distributors and growing the DFWS total portfolio annually
  • Recommending best distributor partnerships for our brands by country
  • Visiting each distributor and working with their sales team in all channels to grow and identify selling opportunities on a quarterly call cycle
  • Managing annual A/P spends by islands to ensure no overspend while developing the best programs that maximize ROI and are mutually beneficial to both us and distributor investments
  • Establish trusting distributor and customer relationships that provide solutions and keep DFWS products a priority for our customers and partnerships
  • Conducting at minimum LE 1 and LE 2 business reviews to ensure on track to plan delivery
  • Establishing a working cadence with distributor marketing managers to build programming calendars and update results and spend post program
  • Collaborating with DFWS trade marketing team to best leverage and bring to life brands programs that are relevant to our Caribbean customers
  • Represent Deutsch Family Wines and Spirits in Tradeshows and Industry related activities in the region
  • Order taking and ensuring inventory needs are well communicated to the Supply team in advance of annual planning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business and/or Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of selling experience and customer management, preferably in the Caribbean region
  • Proven ability in territory sales management including creative and fact-based selling
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to direct the distributor sales forces and develop key, retail customer relationships
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Office and hosting virtual meetings
  • Public Speaking and presentation skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Proficient in speaking Spanish
  • Experience in business travel and flexibility of schedule to allow for 40-50% of business travel associated with role
