As an Account Executive for Bonterra, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within the mid-market segment. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business needs, and presenting solutions that align with our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Presentations:

  • Conduct thorough research to understand the business needs and challenges of prospective clients

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services

  • Customize presentations to address the specific requirements and pain points of each prospect

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance sales skills and knowledge

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within mid-market organizations

  • Understand prospective clients' business objectives and challenges, positioning our software as a solution to their needs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer success, product, and support, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

Sales Cycle Management, Forecasting, Reporting:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from discovery to contract negotiation and closing

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports regularly

  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly within software industry and/or within Non-Profit sector

  • Strong understanding of the sales process and a consultative selling approach

  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and objection handling skills

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently

Compensation

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.

US base salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 and eligible for monthly commissions

Please note that the compensation range specified in this job posting is applicable to candidates based in the United States. For international applicants, actual salary offers may vary based on the local market compensation standards and will be determined in accordance with regional considerations, including but not limited to applicable laws, cost of living, and industry norms.
