How you will contribute:
Manage a client base of wealthy individuals or high net-worth individuals with complex investments and succession strategies and small business clientele
Act as technical reviewer of all individuals, estate, gift, and trust tax returns and tax research projects prepared by associates and seniors in a high volume, fast paced environment
Supervise tax associates and seniors including participation in their training and growth.
Prepare advanced estate planning projects for unique client situations
Manage the workflow, including proper delegation to staff according to their experience, and coordination with senior managers and partners on all phases of the engagement
Proactive effort to develop new business with both current and prospective clients
Delegate work to staff according to their experience and capabilities in conformance with the planning documents described above
Provide overall leadership, supervision, training, and performance feedback to staff
Review the tax working papers and determine that the engagement has been performed in accordance with professional standards and the terms of the engagement letter
Review trust documents and prepare a trust summary document to assist with trust administration
We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
Experience managing multiple client engagements
A strong sense of ownership for delivering ultra-responsive Client Service
Excellent supervisory, team building, and time management skills
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years or more of public accounting experience
3 years or more of servicing high net worth clients, with highly complex investments and succession planning strategies
CPA license
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree
