Overview:

We are seeking a Manager of Pricing to join our Finance department in our Minneapolis office with the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an articulate, high-energy, strategic individual to work in one of the most in-demand legal positions in the industry.

Key Responsibilities Include:
The position will serve as the key resource for promoting and expanding the pricing function within our law firm. Its main responsibilities include:
*Providing support to attorneys in their daily pricing activities, such as developing fee estimates, budgets, and alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), consulting regarding what and how to charge clients and strategies for communicating fees and value.
*Implementing systems and tools to track budgets and fee arrangements for both internal use and client reporting.
*Working with the Marketing & Business Development team to respond to pitches and RFPs by addressing issues related to fee arrangements.
*Supporting the firm's Finance Committee, including evaluating, recommending and implementing billing rates.
*Educating lawyers on pricing strategies and providing internal training and coaching to improve lawyer pricing competency.
*Collaborating with other administrative groups on pricing and legal project management issues.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified candidates should have an executive presence, integrity, and professionalism that will engender confidence with lawyers and administrative leadership.
*A four-year degree is required, background in finance preferred.
*At least 3 years of experience with complex financial analyses required; law firm or professional services firm experience preferred.
*Certificate in Pricing and/or Legal Project Management helpful but not required.
*Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
*Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in PowerPoint and strong Excel skills, including use of pivot tables.
*Familiarity and comfort with finance, pricing and project management software preferred, in particular 3E, DataFusion, Smartsheet, Intapp Pricing, and Power BI.
