The Receptionist position will provide direct customer service to the general public, the agency membership and agency staff, and administrative work to the department and managerial staff. This is accomplished by providing customer service to the agency membership, public and staff; processing information; managing and operating the NCTCOG switchboard, visitor reception area, receiving and processing deliveries, providing internal and external customer service support, receiving and responding to inquiries for information and services; providing backup in the Regional Information Center; and providing administrative assistance, including data and information research, preparing requisitions, ordering supplies, and managing agency and departmental publications and subscriptions. Other duties include training back-up staffing help and serving as a departmental representative.
