Job/Internship Description

Part time (20-29 hours per week) for a 6 month term with possibility of full time employment contingent on performance.

 

Summary

The Data Analyst Intern plays a key supportive role for the entire organization. A successful candidate will be expected to wear multiple hats and "hustle" to find and verify data points that support some of the biggest decisions Wantable makes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Help monitor and maintain all KPIs across the entire business and its various traffic channels through scheduled and ad hoc reports.

  • Generate, edit, and support Wantable Data reports.

  • Verify data points and determine the validity of hypotheses.

  • Track and report ongoing A/B testing in both website performance and marketing strategies.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief Technology Officer and other data analysts.

 

Required Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative field preferred though not required.

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.

  • An interest in solving problems with data.

  • Ability to work in both a team and individual environment.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Python

  • Tableau

  • SQL (postgres)

  • Google Analytics

  • Data analysis

  • Excel

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
