About the Department | The Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity (OIED) is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible, and diverse intellectual and cultural campus experience related to the mission of North Carolina State University (NC State). Essential Job Duties | The Equal Opportunity and Equity Program Coordinator works closely with the staff of the Equal Opportunity and Equity unit of the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity. This position reports to the Associate Vice Provost for Equal Opportunity and Equity unit. As the designated point of contact for our Equal Opportunity Equity Unit, you will serve as a bridge between our team and both internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with all of the assistant equal opportunity officers to manage complaint processing, tracking of training associated with compliance activities, and coordination of equal opportunity outreach activities to ensure the university meets and exceeds its federal and state compliance programming requirements. Equally important is your responsibility for maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information and cases, safeguarding the trust and integrity of our operations.
