The State Bar of Wisconsin is the premier source for the Wisconsin-centric knowledge and advocacy necessary for our members to excel at their practice, uphold their values, and live a fulfilling life - delivered with efficiency, congeniality and value.

We serve a diverse membership of over 25,000 attorneys.  Located in Madison, WI, we have over 80 staff members that work closely with our membership to forward our mission through education, products, and services that enhance the practice of law and access to justice. The American Bar Association has long considered the State Bar of Wisconsin to be one of the most innovative, productive, and service-oriented bars in the country. This distinction has been attributed to the strong volunteerism Wisconsin lawyers exercise in their work with committees, sections, and divisions. One only need skim the achievements of the State Bar to understand what is possible through the hard work and dedicated service of lawyers in partnership with their association.
