Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for an Architecture Engineer to support Avion Solutions. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Supports development and implementation of open system architecture standards through collaborative working groups/IPTs.
• Maintains cognizance of Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) standards, guidance, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Reviews industry systems architectures and processes to ensure compliance.
• Support the development and implementation of the MOSA verification strategy.
• Develops DODAF views and architecture utilizing MBSE tools and other requirements development/management tools.
• Supports the development, maturation, and implementation of the Architecture Framework.
• Supports the development and implementation of the Weapon System Architecture.

Required Experience:

• BS in Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience are required.
• Experience with Systems Architecture and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable with CAMEO, DOORS, TeamCenter, and Polarion.
