About the Department | The Agriculture and Extension Education/FFA Team in the Department of Agriculture and Human Sciences in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at NC State University provides programmatic support to the state’s agricultural education teachers at the middle and high school levels by developing and maintaining curriculum, providing professional development, mentoring and leadership for the North Carolina FFA Association. The NC FFA Foundation provides financial support and public awareness for agricultural education and FFA in order to make a positive difference in the lives of students. |
Essential Job Duties | The State FFA Coordinator position provides technical assistance to agriculture teachers and others within the local school systems in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities include: coordinating all state-level activities and events of the North Carolina FFA Association, assisting agricultural education teachers with program planning, and enhancement of FFA and SAE activities.
